Cross Country - Third Battle of Winchester

WINCHESTER — Millbrook won the boys' meet and placed second in the girls' meet during a midweek mini at the Third Battle of Winchester course.

The Pioneers won the five-team boys' meet with 29 points. Warren County (48) was second and James Wood (96) was fourth. Warren County's Shea Henson was first across the line in 17 minutes, 47.9 seconds over the 3.1-mile course.

Warren County (26) won the girls' meet, while Millbrook (36) was second and James Wood (75) was third. Warren County's Amber Wiley was the top finisher in 21:57.7.

Millbrook boys' scorers: 2. Caden Treiber 19:16.8; 3. Steve Luna-Pleitez 19:20.8; 7. Teague Mendez 19:38.9; 8. Graham Davidson 19:47.5; 9. Elijah McGee 19:54.8.

James Wood boys' scorers: 17. Ethan Pratt-Perez 21:43.7; 18. Thomas Newman 21:44.7; 19. Will Simko 22:00.0; 20. Zachary Harriongton 22:00.2; 22. Eli Clarke 22:10.3.

Millbrook girls' scorers: 4. Addison Stover 24:46.7; 5. Emma Gressley 24:46.7; 6. Caroline McCurry 24:47.1; 9. Allie Murphy 25:42.9; 12. Layne Mendez 26:16.2.

James Wood girls' scorers: 13. Katelyn Palmer 26:24.6; 14. Kirin Nashed 26:25.0; 15. Ryan Oliber 26:25.0; 16. Hallie Lescalleet 26:25.0; 17. Kaitlin Combs 26:25.1.
