All-Area Boys' Cross Country First Team

Ethan Pratt-Perez

James Wood — Senior

Pratt-Perez placed 2nd in Class 4 (15:48, All-State) and won the Region 4D meet (15:59.9). Season PR of 15:09.4 at the Third Battle Invitational (2nd in Varsity A). Second at the Judges Classic (15:51.2) and won the Central Invitational.

Will Pardue

Handley — Senior

Pardue did not run in the postseason due to injury. Had a season PR of 15:30 at the MileStat.com Invitational (24th in Elite race). Fourth at the Judges Classic (16:06.7). Won Spotswood’s Town Park Invitational (15:43.77). Will run for New Mexico.

Dylan McGraw

Sherando — Senior

McGraw placed 5th in Class 4 (16:04), 3rd in Region 4D (16:07.8) and won the Northwestern District meet (16:02.9). VHSL season PR of 15:43 at the Third Battle Invitational (4th in Varsity A).

Will Thomas

Handley — Sophomore

Thomas was a Class 4 qualifier and placed 17th in Region 4D (17:20). Season PR of 16:09 at the MileStat.com Invitational (70th in Elite race). Placed 10th at Judges Classic (16:37.9).

Aidan Kreeb

Clarke County — Junior

Placed 9th in Class 2 (season PR of 16:45.3, All-State), 9th in Region 2B (17:31) and 4th in Bull Run District (19:04.2). Placed 21st (17:28.4) in Third Battle Invitational Varsity B race.

Eli Clark

James Wood — Junior

Clark placed 30th in Class 4 (17:11), 11th in Region 4D (16:54.6) and 4th in Northwestern District (16:49). Season PR of 16:40.5 at the Judges Classic (12th).

Ryan Maki

Sherando — Junior

Maki placed 25th in Region 4D (17:54.9). Season PR of 16:54.8 at Third Battle Invitational (10th in Varsity B). Placed 35th at Judges Classic (17:58.2).

Cal Beckett

Clarke County — Senior

Placed 5th in Class 2 (season PR of 16:19.6, All-State) and 5th in Region 2B (17:10). Beckett did not run in the regular season due to injury.
