WINCHESTER — Ryan Kennedy tossed a three-hitter as Millbrook blanked James Wood in five innings in a Northwestern District clash on Thursday.

Kennedy struck out nine and did not walk a batter in the triumph for the Pioneers (10-3, 4-1 district).

Nate Jaye and Bailey Collins each went 3 for 3 and drove in two runs to pace the Millbrook offense. Collins doubled home Jaye, who scored three times, with the winning run to cap a four-run fifth. Alec Rudolph went 2 for 3, scored twice and drove in a run. Ryan Houchens also went 2 for 3.
