All-Area Boys' Soccer First Team

Seth Bridgeforth — Handley — Senior — Forward
Bridgeforth scored a team-high and single-season school-record 33 goals, and added 12 assists. Bridgeforth was a 4A West Region second team selection and the Conference 21 West Player of the Year.

Brian McGuire — Millbrook — Senior — Forward
McGuire scored a school-record and area-best 34 goals, the most in the area since Clarke County’s Bobby Hobbs in 2006 (38). He added 11 assists. McGuire was named 4A West Region honorable mention and was a Conference 21 West first team selection.

Jesus Rojo-Trejo — Handley — Senior — Midfielder
Rojo-Trejo recorded 20 goals and an area-best 25 assists. Rojo-Trejo was named to the 4A West Region second team and the Conference 21 West first team. He will play for NCAA Division III Eastern Mennonite University next year.

Sean Buono — Sherando — Junior — Forward
Buono recorded team-highs in goals (seven) and assists (eight). Buono was named 4A West Region honorable mention and was a Conference 21 West first team selection.

Joe Brink — Handley — Senior — Defender
Brink anchored a Handley defense that gave up 14 goals in 19 games. He added two assists. Brink was named to the 4A West Region second team and the Conference 21 West first team.

Haniel Lopez-Cajero — Handley — Senior — Goalkeeper
Lopez-Cajero led the area with 11 shutouts, and he averaged 3.6 saves per game. Lopez-Cajero was named to the 4A West Region second team and the Conference 21 West first team.

Jorge Cruz-Cruz — Handley — Senior — Midfielder
Cruz-Cruz recorded 14 goals and four assists. Cruz-Cruz was named to the 4A West Region second team and the Conference 21 West first team.

Seth Wade — Sherando — Junior — Midfielder
Wade recorded four goals and seven assists. Buono was named 4A West Region honorable mention and was a Conference 21 West first team selection.

Kenton Geyer — SVCA — Senior — Defender
Geyer recorded 10 goals and three assists. He was the Mason Dixon Christian Conference co-Player of the Year and named to the MDCC all-tournament team.

Aidan Houser — James Wood — Junior — Forward
Houser scored a team-high 16 goals, and added nine assists. Houser was a Conference 21 West first team selection.

Jonathan Richards — Millbrook — Senior — Midfielder
Richards recorded 11 goals and a team-best 15 assists. Richards was a Conference 21 West first team selection.

Colin Watts — James Wood — Senior — Midfielder
Watts recorded four goals and a team-high 12 assists. Watts was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
