Pioneers 7, Colonels 2

WINCHESTER — Host Millbrook won five of six singles matches to clinch a victory over visiting James Wood on Thursday.

Matt Cress (No. 1), Walter Battin (No. 2), Dan Mead (No. 3), John Battin (No. 4) and Daniel Rice (No. 6) won in singles.

Chad Schott (No. 5) got the Colonels’ lone singles victory, and he teamed with Preston Kemp to win in No. 3 doubles.
