WINCHESTER — Ivy Rosenberry had an excellent game in the circle and at the plate to lead James Wood to a rout of Spring Mills (W.Va.) on Saturday.

Rosenberry tossed a one-hitter and struck out 11 in the romp for the Colonels (3-0). At the plate, Rosenberry went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a home run and six RBIs.

Lani Spielman also had three hits, blasted a homer and drove in four runs. Lindsey Anderson (double, 3 RBIs), Emma Van Horn (2 RBIs) and Olivia Miller (RBI) each smacked two hits. Abigail Brannon added a double.
