Girls' Track - Colonels 88, Warriors 43

WINCHESTER — Grace Greene and Kayla Shaffer won a pair of events to lead James Wood past Sherando on Wednesday.

Greene captured the discus (119-5) and the shot put (36-0), while Shaffer won the 100 hurdles (18.51) and 300 hurdles (52.19).

Other individual winners for the Colonels were: Bailey Blais in the long jump (14-11 1 / 2 ), Rene Rosso in the triple jump (32-3) and Hayley Witt in the 1,600 (5:53.20).

The Colonels swept the relays. Sophia Dorsey, Lydia Sunderlin, Haley Witt and Maria Harter won the 3,200 (12:09.70). Princess Sales, Sophia Addison, Jamie Marcy and Kara Norman took the 400 relay (52.63) and Shaffer, Blais, Dy’Avean Sloane and Rosso captured the 1,600 (4:33.71)

Davina Lane paced the Warriors with wins in the 100 (12.92), 200 (26.06) and 400 (1:00.30).

Sherando also had individual wins from Donzailya Berg in the high jump (5-0), Emily Askew in the 800 (2:52.77) and Tori Reese in the 3,200 (12:38.01).
