Davina Lane

Sherando — Senior Hurdles, Jumps, Sprints

Lane was the Group 4A state champion in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 200. Posted the area’s best marks in the 100 (12.33), 200 (24.89), 400 (59.07), 100 hurdles (14.45), 300 hurdles (44.20) and long jump (17-6). 4A West: 1st in 100H, 300H and 200, 3rd in LJ. C21 West: 1st in 100H, 300H, 200 and LJ, 3rd in HJ, 4th in TJ. Will compete at George Mason.

Rene Rosso

James Wood — Junior Hurdles, Jumps

Rosso posted the area’s best mark in the triple jump (37-8). All-state in 5 events at Group 4A meet: 3rd in TJ, 4th in 100 hurdles, 5th in 300 hurdles (46.75), 6th in long jump (17-3.5), tied for 6th in high jump. 4A West: 2nd in 100H (14.87 in prelims) and 300H, 3rd in HJ, 4th in LJ. C21 West: 1st in TJ, 2nd in HJ (5-4), 100H and LJ, 3rd in 200, 4th in TJ.

Taylor Beard

Handley — Sophomore Jumps, Hurdles, Sprints

Beard was the Group 4A state champion in the high jump and took 7th (all-state) in the triple jump (35-6.5). Posted area’s best mark in the high jump (5-8.75 to take 10th at New Balance Outdoor Nationals) and was No. 2 in 200 (26.89) and No. 3 in 300 hurdles (47.86). C21 West: 1st in high jump, 2nd in 300 hurdles and 200, 3rd in triple jump.

Casey Nelson

Handley — Junior Throws

Nelson posted the area’s best marks in the shot put (39-6.5) and discus (116-8). 4A state meet: 2nd in shot put (all-state), tied for 10th in discus. 4A West Region: 2nd in shot put and discus. Conference 21 West: 1st in shot put and discus.

Hannah Cavanagh

James Wood — Senior Throws

Cavanagh posted the area’s No. 2 marks in the discus (114-2) and shot put (36-7.5). 4A state meet: 2nd in discus (all-state) and 16th in the shot put. 4A West Region: 4th in discus and shot put. Conference 21 West: 3rd in discus and shot put. Will compete at George Mason.

Madison Webster

Clarke — Sophomore Distance

Webster posted the area’s No. 3 time in the 3,200 (11:56.87). All-state in two events at Group 2A meet: 6th in the 3,200 and 3rd in 4x800; also took 9th in the 1,600. 2A East: 2nd in 1,600. C35: 1st in 3,200.

Kenzie Konyar

James Wood — Freshman Distance

Konyar posted the area’s fastest time in the 3,200 (11:29.59) and No. 2 mark in the 1,600 (5:28.05). 4A state meet: 8th in the 3,200 (all-state). Conference 21 West: 2nd in 1,600 and 3rd in 3,200.

Madison McLean

Clarke — Junior Jumps, Sprints

All-state in 3 events at Group 2A meet: 3rd in long jump (16-4), 4th in 4x400, tied for 7th in 4x100; also took 13th in 200. 2A East: 7th in high jump and 200. C35: 1st in HJ and 200, 3rd in LJ.

Emma Hammond

James Wood — Senior Jumps

Hammond posted the area’s No. 2 marks in the long jump (17-3.5) and triple jump (37-4) and tied for the No. 3 mark in the high jump (5-1). C21 West: 2nd in triple jump, 4th in high jump.

Kristin Blake

Handley — Junior Middle Distance

Blake posted the area’s fastest time in the 800 (2:23.09). In the 800, placed 12th in the 4A state meet, 5th in the 4A West Region and 1st in Conference 21 West.

Mellany Groll

Millbrook — Junior Middle Distance

Groll posted the area’s No. 2 time in the 800 (2:25.66). In the 800, placed 17th in the 4A state meet, 6th in the 4A West Region and 2nd in Conference 21 West.

Olivia Couillard

Sherando — Sophomore Distance

Couillard posted the area’s No. 2 time in the 3,200 (11:36.82). 4A state meet: 17th in the 3,200. Conference 21 West: 1st in the 3,200 and 4th in the 1,600.

Kaycee Cox-Philyaw

Millbrook ­— Sophomore Distance

Cox-Philyaw posted the area’s No. 3 time in the 800 (2:25.95) and 1,600 (5:30.49). Conference 21 West: 5th in the 800 and 7th in the 1,600.

Stella Williams

Sherando — Sophomore Distance

Williams posted the area’s fastest time in the 1,600 (5:26.18). Conference 21 West champion in 1,600.

Ania Summers

Sherando — Senior Sprints

Summers posted the area’s No. 2 time in the 100 (13.05). Conference 21 West: 1st in 100 and 6th in 200.
