Swartz’s stellar year ends after elbow injury

Sterling — You didn’t have to hear some of the post-tournament comments made by both Millbrook and James Wood to know the two teams won’t be planning any camping trips together over the summer.
But if there’s one person both teams can rally behind, it’s James Wood’s Gage Swartz, and both felt terribly for him after the 112-pound junior dislocated his left elbow during Saturday’s Region II Wrestling Championships at Park View High School, ending his season.
