Boys' Track and Field - Ram Country Invite

STRASBURG — Clarke County senior Justin Dulaney took first place in two events to lead the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the Ram Country Track and Field Invitational at Strasburg High School on Saturday.

Dulaney took first in both the long jump (20-21/4) and the triple jump (40-9) and placed third in the 400 (53.26). Dulaney also ran a leg on the Eagles’ third-place 4x100 relay team with senior Matt Cleary, junior Chris Keim and junior Greg Shippa (46.23).

Clarke County finished as the runner-up with 68 points — coming in 20 points behind first-place Wilson Memorial. James Wood (48), Central (46) and Strasburg (45) completed the top five.

Clarke senior Vincent Nappi won the discus (133-3) and Eagles junior Ian Dors came in second in the 800 (2:08.25).

James Wood senior Landon Rutherford took first place in the shot put (44-51/2) and senior Andrew Shade won the 3,200 (10:09.67).

Colonels sophomore Chris Vitagliano came in second in the long jump (19-91/4) and sophomore Max Lindquist took third in the 1,600 (4:49.25) and teamed with freshman Tyler Ostinato,
