Softball: James Wood 12, Skyline 11

WINCHESTER — James Wood gave up an eight-run lead in the top of the seventh, but rallied to get the win on Izzy McKee's walk-off double in the bottom of the inning on Monday in the Colonels' season-opener.

James Wood led 8-1 after one inning and 10-2 after two frames. The score stayed that way until the seventh when the Hawks erupted for nine runs to take the lead.

Aliza Judd plated the tying run in the bottom of the seventh and McKee's double scored Judd with the game-winner.
